How it helps

Outdoor movement with support, security and autonomy.

We break it down into three ideas: what it addresses, how it fits into the routine and how to make a sound decision.

01 · Need

Go out and pedal safely.

A trike provides stability when balance needs support; an adapted bike suits someone who already has enough postural control to use two wheels.

02 · Support

With the support that is needed.

The seat, trunk supports and secured pedals are adjusted to specific needs for safe pedalling.

03 · Lace

You don't choose pieces.

First we assess stability and control; then we confirm the model, size and supports. No impossible catalogues or jargon.

What tricycle models can be valued?

We organise the catalogue by product family: the IMP is the most compact one, with postural support and a guide bar; the Terrier adds a sturdy, foldable frame with more adjustment range; and the Tracker provides 20" or 24" sizes with a low step-through frame. Hitch Combo versions can be used for pedalling or as a trailer unit, and T5 versions are also available depending on the configuration. The final choice depends on stability, postural control, measurements and intended use.

What is the difference between a tricycle and an adapted bicycle?

An adapted trike provides the stability people with balance difficulties need to pedal safely and independently. An adapted bike is intended for people who already have enough postural control to use two wheels, with the adaptations needed to make pedalling easier and promote independence.

How do I know which model is the best fit?

We guide you according to measurements, postural control and specific needs. From there, we choose between a trike, bike or rocker and the most suitable supports and restraints.

Can the supports and fastenings be adapted?

Yes. Backrests, harnesses and pedal fixings are configured to measure according to trunk control and each person's needs, and the configuration can continue to be adapted over time.

What do you want to work on when pedaling?

It seeks to facilitate a normal movement pattern, promote the normalization of postural tone and improve the balance between the flexor and extensor muscles, thus accompanying the development of the joints of the lower extremities.
