What can be bought on this website

Online purchase is available for orthopaedic footwear and for GripAble (Home and Pro). You choose from the sizes, widths, fastenings and colours listed on each product page.

Adapted tricycles and the Innowalk are not sold through this website: they are handled by quote or rental because they require assessment by the clinic and measured supports. Orthoses are not sold online either.

How the order is placed

Before paying you will see the order summary with the items, the options chosen, the amount and the estimated shipping. Payment is completed on the Stripe gateway, where the final delivery address is collected and the applicable taxes are calculated.

The contract is concluded when payment is confirmed. You will then receive the order confirmation by email, including its reference number.

The applicable price is the one shown in the order summary at the moment you confirm payment, not the one displayed when you added the item to the basket.

Prices and taxes

Shop prices are shown in euros with VAT included, at the 21% standard rate applicable in mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands.

The final tax is calculated by Stripe based on the delivery address you provide. VAT does not apply in the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla, so the final amount may be lower than the displayed price; in those territories IGIC, IPSI and import duties may apply, are not included and are payable by the buyer.

If we detect an obvious pricing or availability error before dispatching the order, we will contact you and you may either confirm it at the correct price or cancel it with a full refund.

Payment methods

Payment is processed entirely through Stripe Payments Europe. The available methods are shown on the gateway and include credit and debit cards, plus any others Stripe enables for your country at the time.

Pitxuflitos never receives or stores your card details: they are handled directly by Stripe as the payment service provider.

Shipping, zones and rates

Online shop deliveries are made within Spain only. If you need delivery to another country, contact us and we will quote it separately.

The rate depends on the zone and the number of units in the order. Mainland Spain: €5 for 1 to 2 units, €8 for 3 to 5 and €11 from 6 upwards.

Balearic Islands: €10, €15 and €20 for the same tiers. Canary Islands: €8, €13 and €18, by Correos tracked post and with a usual transit time of 6 to 7 weeks. Ceuta and Melilla are charged as mainland.

The rate is calculated from the postal code you enter before paying. If the final address you enter on the gateway belongs to a different zone, we will review the order before dispatch and contact you if the shipping cost does not match, without charging you anything without your agreement.

Delivery times

Orthopaedic footwear is made to order: the usual manufacturing time is 3 weeks, plus transport. This is indicated on the product page where it applies.

As a general rule the order is delivered within a maximum of 30 calendar days from payment confirmation. If we cannot meet it we will inform you and you may terminate the contract with a full refund.

Agreed exception for the Canary Islands: delivery is by Correos tracked post with a usual transit of 6 to 7 weeks, added to manufacturing. By purchasing with a Canary Islands address you accept that period instead of the 30 days. If you need it sooner, contact us before ordering and we will look for an alternative.

Withdrawal and returns

If you buy as a consumer you have 14 calendar days from delivery to withdraw from the order without giving a reason. The products sold in this shop are not excluded from that right: they are chosen from published sizes, widths and colours, and are not made to individual measurements.

Legal guarantee

Products carry the three-year legal guarantee of conformity from delivery provided for by Spanish consumer law. If a product is not in conformity you may request its repair or replacement and, where applicable, a price reduction or termination of the contract.

Complaints and applicable law

You may send any complaint to info@pitxuflitos.com. We will reply in writing as soon as possible.

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you contract as a consumer, you keep the rights granted by the law of your habitual residence and you may bring proceedings before the courts of your domicile.
