Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Clear answers to help you understand the service before deciding on the next step.

Still have questions? Write to us
What is a pelvic seat and what is it for?

It is a custom-made seat that facilitates adequate postural control when sitting and gives the child a secure base of support. This way you do not need to support yourself with your arms and can free your hands to manipulate objects, keeping your trunk aligned and raising your head to better explore your surroundings. It can be placed in the stroller, in a chair at home or on the swings.

What is the "sled" floor seat?

It is a floor seat designed for children with shortening or hypertonia of the hamstrings, which when bending the knees tend to tip backwards. It keeps the legs in extension with its straps to promote passive stretching of the hamstrings, it has an anti-roll support and thoracic straps, and its foot cups allow the seat to "grow" with the child. It is registered with the OEPM as a utility model (file U200600878).

Are there options to play on the move as well?

Yes. Along with the seats for the game we have seesaws, tricycles and adapted bicycles, so that the game is not only seated but also in motion.
